Puzzling case: 5-foot jigsaw sculpture missing from downtown Everett
EVERETT — The disappearance of a downtown Everett art sculpture is puzzling police and city officials alike.
City project manager Simone Tarver alerted Everett police Thursday of the missing display on Colby Avenue at Wall Street.
One part of “Playmates,” — two giant puzzle pieces made of thick painted aluminum, created by artist Jere Donnelly in 2009 — was gone.
Everett police offered no other information Friday about the disappearing statue.
