Chick-fil-A has canceled plans to open a new restaurant in Seattle's Interbay neighborhood.
The Atlanta-based chicken sandwich chain filed early plans for a 2,700-square-foot location in the vacant lot north of Whole Foods earlier this year. But lease negotiations for the site at 1551 W. Armory Way ended without a deal, a representative for the property owner told the Business Journal.
The restaurant would have been the brand's second Seattle location, joining one on Aurora Avenue North in the Bitter Lake area.
Representatives for Chick-fil-A did not respond to a request for comment.
