Until further notice: 1-boat service on busy Edmonds-Kingston route
EDMONDS — After a week of three-boat service, the Edmonds-Kingston ferry route was down to one boat Wednesday due to a mechanical problem.
Thursday’s sailing schedule is TBD.
“The initial reports are that it is a generator issue, but we’re still investigating,” Diane Rhodes, a Washington State Ferries spokesperson, said Wednesday. “It is out of service until further notice.”
The docked vessel Spokane holds 188 cars. The working vessel Puyallup holds 202 cars.
