Seattle third-most expensive city for parking, report says

Returning office workers are filling out the streets of Seattle again and reencountering the problem of pricey parking.

Seattle is the third-most expensive city in the U.S. for parking, an analysis by mobility services company FINN has found.

Monthly parking in Seattle can cost upward of $250, behind only New York City ($443) and San Francisco ($300). Joining Seattle at the No. 3 spot is Philadelphia, where the least expensive parking spot also costs $250 per month.

Parking usage in Seattle significantly dropped off early in the pandemic as remote work surged and office buildings emptied out.

Hence why I usually take public transit when I go to Seattle. When I did pay for parking, it was doing contracted work (I had to bring tools for the job) where I was able to voucher the cost of parking.
