3 more Seattle-area Bartell Drugs locations to close in coming weeks

Closures of more Bartell Drugs stores in the Puget Sound area are pending.

Representatives of the stores in downtown Kirkland, at the Marketplace at Lake Meridian in Kent, and Roosevelt Square in Seattle on Wednesday said the stores will close in the coming weeks, with the last days on Nov. 19 (Kent-Kangley Road in Kent), Nov. 27 (Roosevelt Square) and Nov. 29 for the Kirkland store at 312 Central Ave.

Also, Bartell's parent company Rite Aid will shutter a store at the Lake Stevens Market Place on 91st Avenue on Nov. 19, a store representative said.

These are among the second tranche of 92 leases that R&G Real Estate Partners plans to market for sale. R&G, real estate adviser to Rite Aid Corp. (NYSE: RAD), on Monday announced the locations.
