Progressive in Washington

I got a check from the state. Our attorney general sued some chicken and tuna producers for price gouging, won a settlement, and gave the money back to the people. This is what government is supposed to do, protect the citizens from greedy corporations. If you want a definition of "progressive," here it is. This relates all the way back to the old Progressive movement of the early 1900s. We rarely see government taking this kind of action anymore.

Oh, ouch! You knew that was coming, right? Every one person household gets 50 dollars and every household of two or more persons receives 200 bucks. The AG has a number to call with questions. They have been getting many calls from people wary of scams.
