Where do WA's congressional Democrats stand on calls for Biden to drop out?

One senior Democrat from Washington says President Joe Biden should end his reelection bid. Another says he should not. And the congressional delegation’s most progressive lawmaker is trying to shift the discussion to focus on defeating Donald Trump.

More and more Democrats across the country – including at least nine members of the U.S. House, as of Monday – are calling for Biden to end his campaign, after his disastrous debate performance in late June raised doubts about his age and mental sharpness and whether he can win in November.

Responding on Monday, Biden sent a letter to Congressional Democrats saying he has no intention of dropping out.

In Washington, U.S. Rep. Adam Smith is the first congressional Democrat who has openly called for Biden to step aside. U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, one of the most powerful Democrats in Congress right now, did not specifically call for Biden to suspend his campaign, but she urged him to seriously consider the best way forward.

Amid calls for president to drop out, Everett’s Larsen still on ‘Team Biden’

Rep. Rick Larsen, D-Everett, was on a call Sunday with Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and other senior Democrats where four House members “forcefully” called on Biden to drop out of the race, according to Politico.

-snip-

Larsen “voiced concerns” on the call, according to Politico, but didn’t call on Biden to step down.

On X, Larsen responded to the report, writing that he wasn’t part of the “Dump Biden” movement, despite being on the call.

-snip-

Across the county, Rep. Suzan DelBene, who represents a swath of central Snohomish County from Bothell to Arlington, also expressed her commitment to supporting Biden.

and tell him to stop disenfranchising the 14 million dem primary voters who voted for Biden. Smith and his little anti-democracy cabal are 8 out of 214 U.S. House dems. Nadler has now backed down because my guess is that he heard it from his constituents. Smith needs ti hear the same.

after I read what she said and told her that Democrats need to be united. Republicans aren't calling for Trump to step down. Also, she is third in line for the presidency.

Only with a few buts.
