Mountlake Terrace's Lily Gladstone nominated for Emmy for 'Under the Bridge'

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — The city’s outstanding actress is making history again.

First Lily Gladstone was nominated for an Oscar, and now she’s in the running for an Emmy Award.

Gladstone, a 2004 Mountlake Terrace High School graduate, is up for best supporting actress for “Under the Bridge” on Hulu. She and another actress, Kali Reis (“True Detective: Night Country”), are the first Native American women to receive Emmy acting nominations.

Gladstone, 37, was the first Native American to win Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe best actress awards for her performance in Martin Scorsese’s 2023 movie “Killers of the Flower Moon.”
