After reading this story in GD, I'm going to be donating again to Seattle Children's Hospital.
This DUer's child was finally diagnosed with a serious condition at Children's after years of their symptoms being dismissed by doctors in another state. And when the child's insurance claim was denied, Children's Hospital''s own funds, raised through donations, paid for the necessary treatment.
