Task force offers free app for abuse victims

CHARLESTON, W.Va. A West Virginia app is now available to help those who are being abused or maltreated, particularly children.
The WVHelp app has been rolled out by the West Virginia Childrens Justice Task Force. The app is free.
The app is designed to quickly locate and contact resources throughout the state that deal with young victims of abuse. Information on the app can be found at
http://go.wv.gov/wvhelp.
The application provides phone numbers, addresses and fax numbers for county law enforcement, prosecutors, sheriffs departments, medical facilities, domestic violence programs, sexual assault programs and more in each of West Virginias 55 counties.
The application also provides contact information for key resources at both the state and federal levels. - See more at:
