Lockout to end for Dominion union employees in West Virginia

The lockout of union workers at Dominion Hope and Dominion Transmission facilities will end Saturday, according to information from the Local 69 United Gas Workers Union.

The union and the company reached an agreement, according to a Facebook post made Wednesday night by the gas workers union.

“Starting immediately we are asking the membership to end all picketing,” the post stated.

Dominion had locked out union workers from the company’s facilities in six states, including West Virginia. And members of the gas workers union, along with the Local 69 Utility Workers Union of America have been operating without a labor contract since the beginning of April.
