Walmart customers in Minnesota bought Flaming Hot Cheetos more than any other product last year. The cheese-flavored spicy snack actually has an interesting backstory. Richard Montanez, a Frito-Lay janitor, noticed that the company had no snacks catered towards a latino consumer.

After utilizing a broken machine in the factory, Montanez took some regular Cheetos home and dusted them with his homemade chili powder. His creation eventually made its way to the CEO and was a big hit. Minnesota certainly appreciates the ambition of Montanez.
