Tomah WI: First student presumed positive COVID-19 case at open area school

Nothing about the community feelings or parents. It does say that virtual classes are an option.
This is scary very scary.

TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU) -

Last week, a Tomah elementary school reopened for the school year. This week, one student is a presumed positive COVID-19 case
.

Lemonweir Elementary says the student had a fever and was in close contact with a family member who tested positive.

The school notified all parents of the situation through an email from the superintendent.

Those in the student’s class who were within six feet and the teacher are being asked to quarantine until a negative test result.

The school says it did anticipate cases would happen, but says it’s important to stay open.

“We strongly believe that we have an obligation to educate our children,” said Nicki Pope, Lemonweir Elementary principal. “It’s going to be detrimental if they are not in front of a teacher or at least have the education system to provide them to move forward from here. [Teachers] are essential workers to provide that education to our students.”

Lemonweir says students are not afraid to be back, but instead happy and excited.

A virtual schooling option was also made available for parents with concerns.

I and the majority of Americans should and will die mad because this C-19 nightmare would not be happening in America right now if Russia & Trump/GOP had not stolen the Presidency from Hillary. She would not have looked to find a way to make money off of a coming Pandemic (HCQ & their own C-19 test kits) instead of getting the country ready, she would not have disbanded the global pandemic task force, she would not have fired the CDC’s epidemiologist in China in Sept. 2018, she would not have pulled us out of the international task force that was looking for Pandemics in China in Sept. 2019, and she would not have sent 18 tons of PPE to China in Feb. 2020 which Kushner and Pompeo did because Trump owns China >$200 million.

IF Hillary was in the White House we would not be hitting 4 million cases of C-19 in America by August 2020.

"The Beast" is now spreading faster than we can make tests for it let alone test for it.

But let's go ahead and open the schools back up.

Maybe 3rd year of it? Wonder if an education is more important than life? Or is being a red area the real reason.

These jerks will kill your kids this fall. Over one thing.
They want business open, with no restrictions. That will last only so long,
As the death toll starts claiming kids for the open schools plan of the WisGOPs, those supportive companies will start loosing customers, infect themselves and wind up in a fatal business position.
Vos, Fitzgerald and Steineke have no intention of helping the humans in Wisconsin.
They need campaign donations and it's the corporate money they actively seek.

Many WIsconsinites don't follow the news or even make an attempt to understand the biological processes, that a virus takes.
These fools think that opening a business will actually change how the virus attacks human tissue.

OK by me. If the virus kills off some of these morons, the better society and WIsconsin will be, in the future...
unless the GOP plan to kill off the kids, this fall, works.
