MADISON, Wis. Kanye West is facing two challenges claiming that his presidential nomination papers should be voided.
One of the complaints claims that Wests nomination papers were not turned in on time, West failed to list his actual address of residence and the circulators address was not included on some pages, which goes against a state statute.
The second of the complaints claims that circulators of Wests papers misrepresented the nature of the papers, some signers provided false addresses and some people signed multiple times or used fake names.
The second complaint also claims that Wests papers are legally insufficient to qualify Mr. West
for inclusion on the ballot for the Nov. 3, 2020 election.
Both complaints were filed with the Wisconsin Elections Commission on Friday.

(106,337 posts)F__ck off, Kanye. I'm sympathetic to your mental health issues, but not your wanton disregard for the fact you are allowing yourself to be exploited by and for a man and a force intent on destroying African Americans, other POC and, in fact, all non-supporters (and with collateral damage, his own supporters) in this country.
Exactly this.

(16,781 posts)a lot of trolling, pranking, fake names, and general idiocy.
(Although, I see he's changed his campaign homepage. Yesterday he was soliciting signatures to get on the South Carolina ballot--anybody could type in almost anything so long as you looked up a South Carolina town and zip code.
Today it has a whole new look).

(6,510 posts)I'm not counting chickens before they're hatched, but it's extremely unlikely he takes Michigan again. He won it by an incredibly slim margin last time and he's deeply unpopular there now.
