Joe Biden to return to Wisconsin Friday, marking his third visit to the Badger State in the fall campaign
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is headed back to Wisconsin Friday for his third visit of the fall campaign.
No other details were available.
"Joe Biden will travel to Wisconsin and discuss bringing Americans together to address the crises facing the country and win the battle for the soul of the nation," the campaign said in a statement issued Monday.
The former vice president visited Kenosha and Wauwatosa on Sept. 3. During that trip, he spoke by phone to Jacob Blake, a Black man who was shot by a Kenosha police officer on Aug. 23, an incident that sparked protests, as well as lootings and arson.
Biden visited a foundry in Manitowoc on Sept. 21 and harshly criticized President Donald Trump for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Biden also spoke directly to voters who cast ballots for Barack Obama in 2012 and then switched to Trump in 2016.
