Public schools should be teaching political tolerance, and social tolerance, language parameters along with truthful history can bring us together. The right want to devoid our schools of talking about anything but American exceptionalism, and that is not truthful or helpful for a progressing society.

If the religious zealots can't handle it, then they can go to their private schools.

A lot of these administrators are attending continuing education classes and seminars of private right wing billionaires. They are pushing an ideology devoid of inclusion and progress. Black, white, gay, strait, we are all just people learning to live in our world together peacefully.

If that doesn't work for the religious zealots, then maybe they need to drag their knuckles back into their caves and hash out what happened or didn't thousands of years ago in family disputes. In private schools because some of us are not interested in ancient squables.

political it is. I’d love for schools to teach inclusion etc but that’s not going to happen in some places. Getting rid of the sky daddy stuff is a huge win there. I’m in Florida and you wouldn’t believe how much religious crap is all over the schools.

I was in Bali at a yoga festival and someone asked where I was from. I told them Florida. They were from England and said “Oh DeSantis runs that.” Then I said you mean DeSatan and we laughed and laughed. I spent way to much time having to explain I didn’t vote for him or TFG. Putting an LGBTQ+ flag somewhere in my room is not even close to religious material which is expressly not OK as indicated by the Supreme Court.

This decision by the District is some bullshit.

The rainbow flag is political. Maybe it shouldn’t be but it is.

And include chapter and verse where God says the rainbow is his sign.
Then let the district try to ban the poster.
