Derrick Van Orden's Financial Disclosure Statement was due on May 15, 2023, He got a 90-day extension until Aug 13, 2023. Now, five months late, he still has not filed the disclosure statement, in violation of federal law. Yet, he's said he "does not break the law."

(72,956 posts)I am going to have to take a look at his website.
Why won't Derrick Van Orden answer simple, politely posed questions about claims he himself made? Ask him over and over until we get a response: Did he ever attend Mitchell-Hamline School of Law?

(17,010 posts)Matt Flynns show maybe?
They said he claims he doesnt have to file because he gets money from military and disability benefits only.
But he still has to disclose campaign finance information.
Why is he getting a pass?

(2,227 posts)His bullying buLlshit is NOT playing well in La Crosse, which is a large part of his district the UWLaC students I chatted up are particularly offended by his bullying. So I encouraged them to vote the focker out. A lot of the other adults think his being coy about his finances is sort of suspect, which is a good sign. There are Republicans in La Crosse who are thankfully more sane than the rest of the mouth breathers though we got them too add the bullying on top of the financial machinations, hes going to make himself a one term wonder.
