https://www.duluthnewstribune.com/news/local/door-dash-driver-tased-during-superior-traffic-stopSUPERIOR An evening traffic stop Feb. 28 resulted in the use of a Taser and two citations for the motorist, a 22-year-old DoorDash driver.
Body-worn and dash-camera footage of the incident has been circulating online and was used in a video on the LackLuster YouTube channel. The driver, Ian Cuypers, said he is considering legal action.
(snip)
Cuypers said that hearing orders from multiple officers was confusing and that he didnt hear Gaards warning that he would be Tased if he didnt comply.
He plans to contest the two tickets he received: one for driving against traffic on a one-way street and the other for resisting an officer. Cuypers, who started a GoFundMe site to raise money for lawyer fees, said he is being represented by Peoples Law Office, based in Chicago. In an official statement, he said the level of force officers used was unnecessary and unacceptable.

A state of constant fear - that contrasts as much as possible from their near-heavenly existence (you know, for kicks).
And for white Republicans who think "that's only for the browns and the lefties" - think again.
Sadists always get more pleasure from terrorizing their cheerleaders.

I'm sorry, but all the orders from multiple people, threats, etc, will confuse anyone. Do these cops get even basic training?

Superior officers go through a 17- to 19-week state academy program followed by 16 weeks in the departments field training program. Taylor had finished his field training and started working solo two days before Cuypers arrest, Winterscheidt said. Moen was in training with Gaard, a field training officer, when they responded.
The chief said training is something the department has invested in heavily. He has full confidence in the department's officers.
I support the work that they do, and they do a good job, Winterscheidt said.

You can hear one of the cops at one point correct others about giving commands at the same time -- but by that time it was way too little, way too late.
