Kamala Harris campaign set to launch door knocking effort in Wisconsin with 100 days to election

With just 100 days until the November election, volunteers from the newly minted presidential campaign of Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris will be fanning out across Wisconsin this weekend.

More than 1,000 volunteers will be knocking on doors across the critical swing state, her campaign said Thursday.

The "weekend of action" comes on the heels of Harris' West Allis rally on Tuesday, the first such event of her campaign that kicked off a sprint to November for Democrats' presumptive nominee to take on Republican former President Donald Trump.

"The path to the White House goes through Wisconsin," Harris told the crowd Tuesday. "And we are counting on you right here in Milwaukee."
