Voters in Douglas County town vote on wrong ballot

SUMMIT, Wis. — Some 700 voters in one town in Douglas County in northwestern Wisconsin voted on the wrong ballot Tuesday.

Ballots printed in the town of Summit contain the wrong Assembly district, listing two Democratic challengers instead of the two Republicans the voters should be voting for on Tuesday.

Local election officials said there is no plan to print or issue corrected ballots.

State election officials are monitoring the situation.

It’s a mistake they made. They should be working overtime to fix this stuff, not sitting on it.

Disenfranchisement for these voters (Republicans or not).
