West Salem district seeks support for two funding questions on ballot

WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT) -- More than 120 schools are putting a referendum on the ballot this fall.

That includes West Salem, who are looking for approval for not one, but two referendum questions.

After surveying West Salem families on community needs, the district is asking for support on an operational referendum and a capital referendum.

Together, the two total more than $31 million.

"The board feels strongly about continuing West Salem to be an excellent district," said West Salem School Board President Catherine Griffin. "Having that money to support those programs is going to allow us to continue."
