Teton County GOP promotes 'Stop the Steal' march after Texas lawsuit to overturn election denied
JACKSON, Wyo. The Teton County GOP will hold a Stop the Steal march after a lawsuit to overturn the U.S. presidential election from a Texas attorney general was denied.
We are gathering to show our support of President Trump, but most importantly, to show our support of investigations into all election fraud to preserve our Republic, an email from the Teton County GOP said. Participants wishing to march will lead in front followed by people in vehicles for the flag parade. This event is to echo the Stop the Steal event happening in Washington D.C. on the same day. So come gather with your fellow patriots at the Fairgrounds at 11 a.m. with your signs calling for election integrity, American/Trump flags, your warm boots, and vehicles. This election is far from over, so lets all show up and prove it!
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon was sent a letter by 48 Wyoming lawmakers asking him to join Texas in the lawsuit. The letter claims that Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania exploited the COVID-19 pandemic to justify ignoring federal and state election laws and enacted last-minute changes, which skewed the results of the 2020 election.
Gordon said he would not join due to, unintended consequences relating to a constitutional principle that the State of Wyoming holds dear but he did say that he strongly supported the lawsuit.
The March and Flag Parade is set to take place today at 11 a.m. It will begin at the Teton County Rodeo Grounds and end at the Jackson Town Square.
