Australia changes national anthem! A little bit...

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says he has been encouraged by the strong response from Australians to a change in Advance Australia Fair that recognises our "timeless land of ancient First Nations peoples".
Indigenous leaders have also welcomed the new wording.
From Friday, the second line of Australia's national anthem will change from, "For we are young and free" to "For we are one and free".

First Nations Foundation chairman and Yorta Yorta man Ian Hamm said the fresh line was an important symbol.
"You do need symbolic change, you do need real change.
"This is an important indication to ourselves as a country as to what our expectations are going forward, and to recognise in our national anthem the continued human occupation of this continent from 60,000 years plus to 1 January 2021, and beyond, is an important change.
"We're very definitely not young."..

I can only approve of this very tiny symbolic gesture.

One step closer to us signing a real treaty on our inaugural independence day into our new constitution and doing away with that silly flag and song.
Republicanism can be a real big leap forward for Australia if they allow it.

AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Although their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal, the band themselves call it simply "rock and roll".

AC/DC underwent several line-up changes before releasing their first album, 1975's High Voltage. Membership subsequently stabilised around the Young brothers, singer Bon Scott, drummer Phil Rudd, and bassist Mark Evans. Evans was fired from the band in 1977 and replaced by Cliff Williams, who has appeared on every AC/DC album since 1978's Powerage. In February 1980, Scott died of acute alcohol poisoning after a night of heavy drinking. The group considered disbanding but elected to stay together, bringing in longtime Geordie vocalist Brian Johnson as Scott's replacement. Later that year, the band released their first album with Johnson, Back in Black, which was dedicated to Scott's memory. The album launched AC/DC to new heights of success and became one of the best selling albums of all time.
