Best Q&A ever?

Every now and then (when there are no politicians on Q&A), we get a program that really stirs the public interest. Last night was one such program – revelations both exciting and disturbing, and much focus on how much the government's cuts to CSIRO funding, and its determination to ignore climate science, have impacted this country. Plenty that's relevant to other countries as well – seems we're really not dealing very well with climate change anywhere.

I don't have a scientific brain, but if I can get the gist of what these people are telling us, why is it so hard for our politicians?
