Ottawa: Truck Convoy protesters were regularly handed thousands of dollars

cash by some of the organizers every few days. That really pisses off the local Ottawa businesses who had to shut down for 3 weeks. CTV News

They interviewed one trucker a few months later who admitted he joined up to belong somewhere and gave all his savings to the organizers. He obviously didn't get any of the 100,000s of dollars that was handed out.

but clearly not all, or even a majority? As for the chumps that 'gave all his savings' - I think you can probably guess where general opinion falls there.

'limited' (i.e., just plain stupid, through no fault of their own). Slightly less for people that are marginally intelligent, and have been somehow 'conned' (where, again, most of the fault probably lies elsewhere). And some remnant (but probably significantly less) for those people that are plenty capable and competent - but have participated in their own 'con', by joining a cult and throwing their fortune on a pyre of 'salvation.'

Your compassion, and understanding for basic human frailties and needs - does you much credit. And my own, somewhat brusk, dismissal - considerably less. I defer to your better ...

with hate in their hearts. Many, many. Who knows the guy I feel sorry for may be the Grand Wizard of the KKK in his town.
