Full disclosure I'm sort of a campaign worker for the NDP party.
I drive around the city handing out parking tickets. I live downtown but my route includes the outer suburbs. Even in hardcore Conservative ridings, orange signs are outnumbering blue.

(11,917 posts)split. I live in Calgary and I am liberal but Alberta really has no chance of any liberal government. I will vote NDP because they are the better alternative. I will never vote UPC - Did anyone tell the conservatives that progressive conservative is an oxymoron, they are just morons and don't even get me started on Danielle Smith, the crazy is evident.

(54,405 posts)being an anti-vaxxer nutcase doesn't make for a desirable candidate to anyone but her most rabid base. The polls look good for the NDP so far, have my fingers crossed.

I'm counting on the majority of Albertans to use common sense and refuse to buy into the false facade Smith is currently trying to sell. Rachel Notley and the NDP are no longer an unknown and with a pretty good record overall so the previous 'fear' of 'socialists' is no longer there, imo, which elevates their chances when compared to what else is out there.
