We are smoked out. It hasn't been this smoky since everything directly west of here was burning down a couple years ago. The most I could see of the mountains nearby was a mere hint of a silhouette of them. I stayed inside most of the day.

fight the fires which let's you know how desperate they are. I would imagine it would be going to the already flamed out places and watering the ground and digging out smokey places underground, so I don't think it is dangerous other than the smokey air.
