(14,001 posts)And I trust a cat dad much more than one who doesn't have pets (and actively hates, and is hated BY) animals, or one who speaks about the family's pet as "HER" dog or "the children's dog".

(12,253 posts)There are a lot of videos on YouTube about detecting AI images and videos, and one important clue is shadows: When AI composes an image with multiple objects, it often makes the shadow directions inconsistent. If any number of objects in a real image are lit by the same light source, all shadows will point exactly at that source, but many current AI generators don't seem to know that. In the lower right of this image, look at the shadow of the cat's tail compared to the shadow of the small box -- it just doesn't look right, does it.
There is often a similar problem with lines that should be parallel that are not converging at the same perspective "infinity" point, but the desk in this image looks okay, and there's really nothing else to compare it with, since it isn't necessarily supposed to be aligned with the window.
