Albertans invited to weigh in on province's employment standards
Albertans are being invited to provide feedback on the province's employment standards legislation which includes the rules on minimum wage, general holidays, overtime and more.
We want to hear what Albertans think about the laws that govern their workplaces," said Thomas Lukaszuk, minister of jobs, skills, training and labour.
Consultations begin today regarding the Employment Standards Code which sets out those standards in the province.
A discussion guide and survey is available online where people can offer their comments on the topic and provide feedback to a series of questions.
