March in memory of aboriginal women draws crowds

Hundreds marched through downtown Vancouver Saturday to support calls for a national inquiry into 1,200 aboriginal women nationwide who have been murdered or are missing.

The memorial march that began in Vancouver nearly 25 years ago has since spread to cities across the country.

the psychopathic ones for life. 1000 of those cases have been solved. We need more resources for police not an inquiry. Some in the aboriginal community are starting to agree. Science and health $$$$ will keep women safer. So will cameras in the rough neiborhoods. That is where the $$$$ should be. Not in an inquiry that will find that many of the women had an at risk lifestyle.
