My dad, an old liberal, voted green because of her. Says she is a lovely person.

(54,362 posts)2. Elizabeth May was just on Power and Politics and it's a no go with her...
She is the leader of the Green Party and will stay the leader of her Party. She said she thought those saying she should be chosen by Trudeau are sweet but unrealistic.
She also said she expects there will be cooperation between the Liberals and her on environmental issues. Trudeau has already met with her.

as I said, sweet but unrealistic. With a majority government it really is unrealistic for something like that to happen and Elizabeth was very clear she is very comfortable where she is right now.
I actually love her, her enthusiasm, her lack of sophistry, it is so refreshing.
