Is the Canadian film industry itself. All this grant money and such is supposed to foster Canadian culture but is insanely Toronto centric. It is such a typically behind the times upper Canada mentality.

Toronto is becoming increasingly stale compared to Vancouver's quick-shifting existence and Montreal's arts community, yet we see film after film about Toronto. Needs to stop.

More Vancouverite actors and film producers who have made it big in the U.S. need to do the city a solid and start pushing for it to be in a movie or two as itself.
