(5,240 posts)3. They are following the lead of US states like Wisconsin under GOP control.
Demonize teachers(they are overpaid babysitters) create resentment of teacher pay and benefits being paid by taxpayers and dangle "choice" ie privately held charter schools, in front of people to make them believe that public funds should go to for profit schools.
