(18,522 posts)1. Not so in BC, especially the island and lower mainland
Our entire winter seemed to last from Dec. 23-Jan 8 or so, when we got an entire winters worth of snow in just a couple of weeks. Since then, it has been cold, but with minimal rain until this week, with more a bit more rain coming in the coming week.
Its currently cool and sunny, and absolutely lovely.
I worry this means the summer is going to be another scorcher like last year.

(11,917 posts)3. Yep had spring in early Feb and then went down to -20, warmed up
and had snow the past 3-4 days. I have to say it has been one of the mildest winters here, very little snow which is concerning, so hope the mountains got lots.

during the winter. We've hit zero C a few times. Very odd.
