Britain to be locked down after simpletons couldn't stay at home when asked politely

As so often, Newsthump is our best news source:

Dipshits who insisted on going to the park and the pub over the weekend have ruined things for everyone else, it has emerged.

Morons, who headed off out in big groups to the beach or a beer garden because the sun was out, have caused the government to shut everything down because they just had to act like arseholes who think they know best.

”Most people have restricted social contact in a sensible way to try and stop grannies dying, but, well, some people are just twats,” said spokesman for the department of health Simon Williams.

“Whilst the vast majority of people kept their distance and only went out when they absolutely had to, a comparatively small number of slobbering imbeciles decided to set up a virus breeding programme in places like Scarborough beach or London’s parks this weekend.

We need to travel to Yorkshire next week cause my partner has cancer treatment and now he is as anxious as fuck that we will be able to get there. I think BoJo actually expected people to not be selfish wankers over this... heh. Well, we all know that that he is stupid and also a selfish wanker so why would he expect people to trust the experts when he told us for years that experts are fools. The SO has significant health care issues that if he gets this will kill him, and seeing people out and about made me want to scream. On the plus side, living in a flat in zone 1 London, my air quality is improving dramatically.

Folks,

On a slightly different angle to posts so far, I am thinking about people who find a lock down particularly hard. I used to teach in a city college and some of our adult students lived alone and had mental heath issues. A common symptom was restlessness and an individual might walk for miles or hang around in public places, just to get out of their lonely room. A great help for such folks was group activities either in the college or in public cafes, libraries etc. I organised many of these groups.

I'm long retired so don't know what is going on now.

For a heck of a lot of people. It's not nice to live your life as though you are under house arrest but needs must at present.

Regarding the current fuss about people going out for exercise at present, it's a matter of being smart and striking the right balance. Not easy if you live in a small flat in London but if you can avoid popular spots like public parks for exercise then do avoid them. And definitely don't go sunbathing in parks at present.
