Related: About this forumLiterally the UK Government
To be fair we have always had our issues on race and immigration, right? Tolerant rather than inclusive in policy terms, and much work was still to be done. But THIS? THIS? WTAF has happened that bitterly racist people are running this country and pandering openly to the worst impulses of white supremacist nationalists.
The cruelty and racism is the main feature. I want my country back.

The Refugee Council told the Observer that it was deeply concerned by the bureaucratic hurdles that had delayed Ukrainians seeking sanctuary in the UK.
We are hearing that visas for all members of a family who have applied together are not always processed together, causing significant delays to their ability to travel to the UK. We are also hearing that people are having real difficulties with receiving emails at all, or they are receiving emails at different times from others in their family, all of which is causing huge distress and delays, said chief executive Enver Solomon. It amounts to putting paperwork and bureaucracy before people who have no choice but to leave their homes.

A Ukrainian child refugee has won her right to come to Scotland in a groundbreaking change of visa rules.
Nataliia Zavhorodnia, 15, found herself in the bizarre situation where her two guinea pigs had been approved for travel but her case was tied up in Home Office red tape.
Despite travelling with her aunt, she was classed as an unaccompanied child as shed left her parents behind in the war zone - making her ineligible for a visa under current laws.
