Suella Braverman accuses Rishi Sunak of betrayal in scathing letter

Suella Braverman has launched a full-scale attack on her old boss Rishi Sunak, a day after he sacked her as home secretary.

In a blistering letter to the prime minister, she said he had repeatedly failed on key policies and broken pledges over immigration.

Mr Sunak had adopted "wishful thinking" to "avoid having to make hard choices", she wrote.

And she accused him of having "no real intention" of keeping his promises.

and resignation of Sunak. She's hoping that the Brexit and Truss attitude of "we Tories have been too centrist" will remain in the members, and they'll go for whoever is farthest right.

In charge of delivering most of that agenda. She needs to take some responsibility rather than just chucking blame around. Also goes to show that she's not a team player at all. But then that much has been glaringly evident.

A day after Britain’s prime minister fired her, Suella Braverman accuses him of being a weak leader (Associated Press)

LONDON (AP) — Former British Home Secretary Suella Braverman lashed out at Prime Minister Rishi Sunak a day after he fired her, calling his approach “uncertain, weak” and a betrayal of his promises.

In a resignation letter she published on Tuesday, Braverman said Sunak had “manifestly and repeatedly failed to deliver” on key pledges and alleged that he “never had any intention” of keeping them.

Sunak sacked Braverman on Monday after she made a series of intemperate statements that deviated from the government line. In recent weeks she called homelessness a “lifestyle choice” and accused police of being too lenient with pro-Palestinian protests, which she called “hate marches.”

A strong leader would have tossed her out much earlier.

Running scared of her and her RW nut supporters.
