Liz Truss has hit out at Joe Biden and members of the Tory party over the most almighty backlash that led to her own failed UK premiership....
Ms Truss later launched into a laundry list of complaints and conspiratorial musings about how the left is undermining the Conservative-led British government because they did not accept that they lost at the ballot box similar to Mr Trumps infamous claims of a stolen US election.
Instead, theyve been weaponizing our court system to stop us contorting illegal immigrants, theyve been using the administrative state to make sure that conservative policies are faulted and theyve been pushing their woke agenda through our schools, through our campuses, and even in our corporations, she said...
We need Republicans who are prepared to fight. We need Republicans who arent going to cave in to the establishment...

And that the only place left for the woman who had all self awareness removed at birth is gibbering conspiracy theories about the "deep state".

(56,675 posts)Britain's worst Prime Minister since Anthony Eden is trying to school the worst class of American Republicans since their party's founding on how to be even worse than they are now?
By the way, she could have saved herself the airfare. Our Republicans have demonstrated that they are perfectly capable of getting there on their own.

(14,804 posts)She only lasted 50 days, making her Britain's shortest tenured prime minister.
Her financially illiterate mini budget crashed the UK economy and the Conservative Party that was daft enough to choose her over Rishi Sunak quickly ousted her.
Liz Truss is a very strong candidate for Britain's worst ever prime minister. And the other candidates for that dubious honour have mostly held the position in the last 10 years. You have to go back to the likes of Lord North (PM during the American war of independence) to find PM's as bad as Boris Johnson, Theresa May, Truss and Sunak.

(41,306 posts)Liz Truss made her remarks about having been hobbled by transgender and environmental activists in the civil service at a US event also attended by controversial rightwing figures, it has emerged.
The former prime minister was criticised over the weekend when she told the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland she had been thwarted during her 45-day term in office by a small cabal within Whitehall.
It has now emerged that the roundtable event was also attended by a number of well-known figures from the fringes of global conservatism. They included Tommy Tuberville, a US senator who once refused to say white nationalists were racist, Hiroaki Jay Aeba, a representative of a conservative Japanese cult, and two allies of the Hungarian prime minister, Viktor Orbán.
The revelations have intensified calls for the prime minister, Rishi Sunak, to remove the Tory whip from Truss, who is already under fire for not criticising Steve Bannon during a separate CPAC event during which the former Trump adviser called the far-right figure Tommy Robinson (whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) a hero.
