US Senator Michael Bennet(D-CO) has prostate cancer.

Bennet's US Senate term is up in 2022. If Bennet leaves the US Senate when his term is up, 2nd CD US Representative Joe Neguse-D is favored to replace Bennet. If Neguse decides to challenge Gardner-R in 2020, then 6th CD US Representative Jason Crow-D is favored to replace Bennet.

My father had prostate cancer and passed away from it 24 years ago.

Many men get it. Most die of something else, as my husband did. I'm sorry about your father, but lots of men survive prostate cancer. Let's hope Senator Bennet is one of the fortunate ones.

there are a number of people in congress treating for it or have had treatment in the past. He's only 54.
