Related: About this forumWhich US Senate seat do the Democrats have a better chance of winning? OH or NC?
NC- It is a purple state while OH is a red state.
OH- The other OH US Senator Sherrod Brown is a progressive Democrat who won re-election in 2012 and 2018 by a margin greater than 6 percent. The Democratic nominee for the 2022 OH US Senate Race- Tim Ryan is more moderate than Sherrod Brown. The Republican Nominee for the 2022 OH US Senate Race-JD Vance is a much worse candidate than Josh Mandel-2012 Republican Nominee and Jim Rennacci-2018 Republican Nominee.
I expect Sherrod Brown to win re-election in 2024 due to the fact that the Republicans will nominate an unpopular candidate.
