Related: About this forum2024 US Senate Election Prediction in FL and TX. Which Democrat can defeat Scott and Cruz?
FL(Scott-R) and TX(Cruz-R) are the 2 Republican held US Senate seats up for re-election in 2024 that is consider vulnerable. Both are weak Trump states.

(22,722 posts)1. I have heard no info re: someone to oppose Cruz
there is only one Beto and hopefully he will win and be our governor.
What I fear is that if he does not win this election he will not be considered a viable candidate.
Maybe one of the Castro twins....maybe

Beto is good, but he is a bit off his game this year.

He has been drawing some big crowds on his road trips. Enthusiastic crowds.
I do not think he is off his game at all.

I was visiting in San Antonio when he was running for the Senate, and his crowds were massive.
