Joe Neguse(D-CO) will be the next US Senator of CO. The question is which US Senate seat.

The CO US Senate seat that opens up 1st is Michael Bennet’s seat in 2025 if he gets nominated by Joe Biden and confirmed by the US Senate to become US Secretary of Education in Biden’s 2nd US Presidential Term. Jared Polis will appoint Joe Neguse a fellow Boulderite and successor to the CO-2nd CD US House seat to the US Senate seat vacated by Michael Bennet.
John Hickenlooper’s CO US Senate seat is likely to open up 1st in 2032. John Hickenlooper will retire after 2 terms in the US Senate,2 terms as Governor of CO, and 2 terms as Mayor of Denver,CO. Hickenlooper will also be 80 years old in 2032. Joe Neguse will be completing his 7th term in the US House of Representatives and will be 48 years old in 2032.

John Hickenlooper’s US Senate seat could also open up in 2026. Micheal Bennet’s US Senate seat could also open up in 2028.

Joe Neguse will take which ever US Senate seat open’s up 1st.

the false impression. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Bennet Further, the scuttlebutt in CO is that Bennett is not interested in an appointment to Sec. Of Education. Nor has Biden hinted that he's planning to name him.

Hickenlooper is up for reelection in 2026. We have NO OPEN seats in the next cycle (2024)unless someone retires.

I'm a big Joe Neguse fan, but he's going to be needed in the House until an opening actually occurs.
