Trump favorability is too high in the NYT-Sienna polls

It is 47-52. Looks like all GOP and MAGA have consolidated. We have to really work hard to have Harris at about 48. It is going to be the same old close one. High favorability for a rapist felon?

2. It's just one poll and it's only slightly off his average when the MOE is factored in.

Other recent polls have him as low as 41%.

As for the GOP and MAGA, they were never not consolidated. Nearly everyone in the GOP has supported Trump all along, which is why his approval ratings are historically stable.

THE NEW YORK TIMES/SIENA COLLEGE POLL

July 22 to 24

If the 2024 presidential election were held today, who would you vote for if the candidates were Kamala Harris and Donald Trump?

Harris/Trump : 47%/48%, for likely voters

Harris/Trump : 46%/48%, for registered voters

The margin of sampling error for likely voters is plus or minus 3.4 points. For registered voters it is plus or minus 3.3 points.Based on New York Times/Siena College polls of 1,142 voters nationwide conducted from July 22 to 24, 2024.By Lily Boyce and Andrew Park

On edit
Harris is actually leading Trump by 1%, when the minor candidates are included (44%/43%)

It's been reported, as well as testified to by Michael Cohen under oath, that drumpf has been paying for favorable polling numbers for yrs. His numbers are a scam.

Moderate republicans and independents aren't voting for him and his magats are about 1/3 of republicans so why are his numbers close to Harris?
Like everything else he's done, it's a fraud
