love it - that is where a wall should be built however the people with money are even more, or just as diligent as the people coming across/over/under our borders - they will find a way to create proxy groups etc - there is not a way around money - you cannot get money out of politics -

what will matter is if people themselves - the voters that is - get off their couches and hold their reps accountable - also make money not matter nearly as much - there could be more transparency but even that has limits - the true way would be more public media, that reports campaigns equally, fairly and evenly to all candidates on the ballot - instead of taking money out of politics (like training a dog not to go on the couch - impossible) make it so money doesn't matter as much!
