Because I shop mainly at Aldi with reusable bags, I’ve had to resort to collecting bags from the neighbors to take care of litter scooping for 14 cats.

Eight of fourteen cats are from the neighborhood cat hoarder who died. He and his brother—who is now in care with dementia—had twelve cats in deplorable conditions. I’m working on getting them rehomed. Are you, by any chance, in the Pittsburgh area and in need of a cat?

So far they've gotten 2 free benches made from the materials they collected, and they're still doing it.
You might want to have your local library, senior center, school, or other organization look into doing the same.

Great for Aldis, but I try to get to Aldis 2-3 times/week (resupply my Greek Yogurt and berries). I normally don't use more than two.

Thinking about the environmental cost of purchasing new trash bags now, which are thicker and larger than what we need. We’ve started using paper bags but they don’t fit and aren’t durable when they get damp. Happy about the new law, overall, of course!

it is large enough & they're used fairly quickly for waste basket lining throughout the house.
