I was just wondering. For those of you who might not know, Reddit is a site where you can submit news articles and then comment on them.
It seems all the creeps come out of the woodwork in /r/politics (the politics section) and they've made it a truly miserable place. The mods had to put a filter on to keep right-wing spam off but sometimes this clogs up the system.

(1 post)Yes, I personally use reddit as directory submission after I make a post on my blog. What's wrong with it, so I can know where I do come in.

(14,689 posts)If the subreddit you're following creeps you out, there's probably a different one with a different culture.
I like it because I can usually find a group to answer the weirdest questions. Like, "how long have they been building skyscrapers starting with the central elevator," or "why can't I see all my Amazon purchases, regardless of what credit card I use." Engineers and Amazon subreddits.
There are, of course, incredibly explicit sex-oriented subreddits. But you don't have to visit them. They're not in your face.
I couldn't believe how long it took me to find it.

(14,689 posts)This is the first time I've visited this group. I spend most of my time in General Discussion and I've never seen posts removed because they're spam. And here there are multiple spam posts in one thread. What's up?
