Microsoft removes policies from Windows 10 Pro
Up until now, policy availability was more or less identical for all professional versions of Windows 10. Turns out, this is no longer the case when the Windows 10 Anniversary Update is released.
Some policies contain a note stating that they only apply to certain editions of Windows 10, with Windows 10 Pro not being listed as one of them.
Furthermore, the corresponding Registry keys are not working either anymore which means that Pro users have no option to make changes to features affected by the change.

(1,642 posts)I am installing to separate disk drives. I am keeping my Win 7 and 8 configurations.
I don't trust MS with my security and privacy.
It's very suspicious that just a few days after the big "cut-off," MS is intending to release a whole new version of Win 10.
I strongly suspect that the new version -- the so-called anniversary version -- will override the privacy settings and do whatever the hell MS wants.
To my observations, this year-long Win 10 fiasco is driving more people to Apple and Linux than Vista ever did.
I am very invested in MS products, now. But, not in the future.
