(195 posts)Take the battery out wait a bit then reinstall the battery... That move solves a lot of problems with cell phones and should be the first thing you do...If that doesn't work then you can go on to other ideas..Try the different android forums around.

(31,992 posts)i deleted all my photos from my galaxy sky tracfone sd card. I AM NO TECH GODDESS....... D*mn. So.....looking on line for recovery of these photos, and I'm losing my mind. Do I have to download some program to retrieve them through my computer?? or should I just give up, go to the geek squad and pay to have them found. Ugh........what a mess, and my eyes roll over with all the information this available to fix this problem. It's a samsung galaxy sky tracfone and I thought all the photos were on the SD card I just installed to this new phone. Help.

(10,136 posts)I have two file recovery programs.
Image Rescue by Lexar since it came with my hi-end cards for my camera.
Recuva by Piriform
https://www.piriform.com/recuva
The important part is not no use the card so that no files get overwritten.
Did you really delete the pictures off the card? Or, was the card encrypted by a previous phone for security purposes, which means that only that phone can see the card's contents?

(37,468 posts)however, 1- I have none to recommend, 2- they would probably be very expensive, and 3- I don't know if they could help you.
Worth a shot if you don't mind spending the money.
Just google professional data recovery, and use your spidey senses! Good luck!
