Did Edge change Settings for deleting individual cookies?
I had barely figured out "Privacy" tab. Now can't find where. Now only have the option to delete all. Want to pick & choose.

(2,274 posts).. can use Ccleaner to keep the cookies you want and delete the rest. The free version will do just fine. Just go to "Options", then "Cookies" it will show you what cookies are on your system and let you keep or delete them as you like.

(72,406 posts)It allowed the "professional version" as a free trial, took about 45 minutes to do an analysis, then really fast deleted something like 5 mb(?) of whatever. Then it offered a really short list of what cookies to keep, which were the basic stuff like Google/Yahoo/etc. The only one in the list I deleted was AOL.
Then I went to Options to try for what I really wanted, to pick and choose cookies to delete, but no such option was there.
After we were done, it said that it would be monitoring my browser, which would be fine if it weren't going to bother any more, but the first time I closed the browser, it gave a pop-up saying "Browser Closed." So, I might leave it for a couple of days, but will uninstall it soon.
... options FIRST before you run it. Do your regular surfing to your usual sites, THEN choose what cookies you want to keep, THEN run it. You don't need the Pro version either, just let it run out since you've already installed it. You can stop the pop-ups too just go to settings and choose no. There's other things in settings you can change too, like not to start up when Windows start's etc. Its very simple. Ccleaner is probably the most highly regarded cleaning type software out there. Just do a search for it if you don't believe me.
When downloading ANY software from the net, watch it as it install's, in Ccleaners case it will ask you if you want the trial Pro version, just say no (or uncheck the box) and it will install the free version.

(2,274 posts)........ if you have any questions , just ask. I'll keep looking back here for a few days or so. I really wouldn't recommend a super duper advanced program to you or anyone. I'm a "Guru" (my rank) at SevenForums (for Win7), Eightforums (for Win8), and (VIP) at Tenforums (for Win10), but mostly hang out at either 10 or 7 as I know them the best and most people go there anyway. Not many 8 users out there lol. I have a different username there too, lol, I guess this username doesn't lend itself to much confidence, huh ? But anyway, as I said I'll keep looking back here for a bit, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know the answer I know where to go and who to see to find out. Happy computing! (I'm indianacarnie at those forums if you want to check my credentials)

(72,406 posts)NONE of the individual cookies for sites were listed where I could see, as I said above. And whatever it did, it deleted my DU cookie, so I have to log in every time, unlike before.
To people who know things, things are simple. To people like me, they're not. So am proceeding to uninstall it.
Repeating, am SINCERELY grateful for your attention. My comments on my experience with this software have NOTHING to do with you, NO reflection on you. Thanks.
