Question about Chrome and downloading pdf file
A friend called me. She was having trouble opening a pdf attachment in AOL mail.
Right clicking wouldn't bring up an open option. She was using Chrome in Windows 10.
She opened Firefox browser and had no problem getting the file.
Anything I can pass along to her about this?

(28,610 posts)1. I think you have to print it to PDF, save it as another file, and then you can open it, or send it
or whatever.
This is the main thing I don't like about Chrome. I think there is some add-on you can put on your toolbar, but I'm not sure how to do that. I don't know why they have this limitation. I need to attach documents to emails in PDF all the time, and this extra step is really annoying.

pdf will open. Then save it to download directory. That's my experience in Chrome.
